- science (compost bin observations + intro to water conservation)

Ask your child:
- what important facts did they discover our water?
- approximately how many cups are filled with water in 30 minutes when a faucet is dripping?
- about this month's virtue "initiative" What does it mean to show initiative?
Homework:
- math homework (if not completed in class) - due on TUESDAY!
- D2L assignment - "12 Steps to Being a Good Caretaker of Earth" - due on WEDNESDAY (submit via Dropbox)!
- nightly reading, math facts and spelling practice (quiz this FRIDAY)
Reminders:
- please return signed field trip consent forms (for the Feb. 10th trip) by Friday, February 7th!
- please return the signed report card envelope
