MONDAY, SEPT. 9

We would like to welcome Mrs. Turk to our class.  Ask your child about a new phys ed game called "Crackers and Crumbs".  Tomorrow we will do an experiment in science.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 6

Today the students continued to introduce themselves to me by writing me a letter about themselves.  They also drew pictures of the student who they interviewed yesterday.  In Science we began studying "Hearing and Sound" and watched a video by Bill Nye the Science Guy.  I hope you have a great weekend!

THURSDAY, SEPT. 5

In math we began a unit on patterns.  Ask your child about an "increasing pattern".  Ask your child how the story "Chrysanthemum" related to our classroom expectations.

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 4

The students did an excellent job following rules and routines today!  In math, we made a pictograph to show where the students were born.  Please ask your child about the Learning Commons.  Have a great evening!

FIRST DAY

We have had a wonderful first day of school.  The students spent time getting to know each other and learning our classroom rules and routines.  They would like you to ask them about designing a t-shirt and Character Education.
